Why churches are separate

A church is a community, not a contact. It has one record of its own, with pastors and committee members linked as real people.

Add a church

1. Open Churches and select Add a church.
2. Enter its name and whatever else you know: city, denomination and website.
3. Link people, and give each a role such as pastor or missions leader.

Church development

Each church page records its budget cycle, missions conference, missions application and due date, its champion, how often to send a personal update, and the next action.

With the Church rhythms automation on, Nehemiah reminds you before budget cycles, conferences and application deadlines.

Use Begin church development to start, and Log a conversation to remember what was said.

Churches and giving

A church can be the supporting partner of a commitment, while each member's personal giving stays separate. A church cannot be chosen as the organization that receives support for you.
